Nominasi untuk Academy Awards ke-92 sudah diumumkan malam tadi. Issa Rae membawakan pengumuman nominasi ini bersama John Cho.

Film ‘Joker’ arahan Todd Phillips memimpin dengan 11 nominasi Oscar, termasuk di antaranya adalah best director dan best actor.

Sedangkan ‘The Irishman’ arahan Martin Scorsese, ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’ arahan Quentin Tarantino, dan film perang ‘1917’ arahan Sam Mendes, masuk dalam 10 nominasi. Film-film ini bersama ‘Ford v Ferrari,’ ‘Jojo Rabbit,’ ‘Little Woman,’ ‘Marriage Story,’ dan ‘Parasite,’ akan bersaing dalam kategori best picture.

‘Parasite’ film arahan Bong Joon Ho juga mencatatkan sejarah sebagai film Korea Selatan pertama yang masuk dalam nominasi best picture dan best international film.  

Pengumuman para pemenang Academy Award akan ditayangkan langsung pada 9 Februari di ABC.
